Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a five-month discipleship course that serves as the prerequisite for all other YWAM training programs. Our DTS has a sports focus, which means that our ministry opportunities will involve sports the majority of the time. This is such a unique opportunity because sports is such an easy way to connect with people. It is also a way to overcome language barriers because relationships can still be formed through sports.
This course is for those who desire to deepen their relationship with God and to see the unreached reached with the gospel. Even if sports may not be your “thing” there are still so many other ways for God to use your interests/passions to reach the lost.
- Three-month lecture phase exploring ways to know God more through topics like God’s character, evangelism, and missions.
- Two-month outreach phase focused on making God known in the nations. We will travel to another country and put into practice the things we learned in the lecture phase.
